The same rules as everything we buy: no opened or damaged boxes, no expired or very short-dated stock, and no boxes labeled for Medicare or Medicaid — those carry resale restrictions we can't work around. Writing on the box hurts too, so label nothing.
Dating matters more for strips than anything else
Test strips are the slowest-moving product we resell, so buyers need runway: boxes with 9 or more months before expiration earn the strongest offers, and value steps down from there. If your meter changed or your prescription switched brands, the strips in your closet are losing value every month they sit — get a number now and decide with real information.
