First: what do you actually have?
Dexcom G6 is a three-part system, and the parts are quoted separately. Before you request an offer, sort what you have into these groups — it is the single biggest thing that speeds up a quote:
- G6 sensors — sold in sealed three-packs. This is the item people have the most of, and the one with the steadiest demand.
- G6 transmitters — one per box, and the part that separates G6 from G7. Because the G7 sensor has the transmitter built in, G6 transmitters only have value to people still running G6 hardware.
- G6 receivers — the handheld display. Many people never used theirs because they read their glucose on a phone, so unopened receivers turn up often.
If you have all three, say so when you request a quote. Complete sets are easier for us to place than a single loose item, and it saves a round of back-and-forth.
What are Dexcom G6 supplies worth?
Offers on G6 depend on four things: which part it is, how much unexpired dating is left, whether the box is retail or insurance/DME labeled, and current demand for that item. Sensors and transmitters are priced separately, never as a bundle.
Dating matters more on G6 than it does on newer products. Because most new prescriptions now go out as G7, G6 demand comes from people who are still on G6 hardware — a real but shrinking pool. Boxes with long dating still move well; boxes with a few months left are much harder to place. If you are sitting on G6, sooner is better than later.

- Factory sealed, never opened. The manufacturer seal has to be intact. Opened boxes cannot be resold at any price.
- Unexpired, with dating to spare. We look for at least three months remaining, and longer dating earns a stronger offer.
- Readable lot and expiration. If a pharmacy label covers the printed dating, tell us before you ship.
- Stored at room temperature. Boxes stored in a car, a garage, or anywhere that got hot are a risk we cannot take.
- US-labeled product. We cannot buy internationally labeled boxes.
Why people end up with unused G6
Nearly every G6 seller we talk to falls into one of these situations, and none of them are unusual:

- Take inventory. Count boxes by type — sensors, transmitters, receivers — and note the expiration date on each. Photograph the front and back of one box of each type.
- Text us the details. Send the photos with counts and expiration dates. Photos of the actual boxes get you a firm number instead of a range.
- Get your offer. We respond during business hours. The final amount is confirmed once model, quantity, dating, labeling, seal, and condition are verified.

Is G6 still worth selling now that G7 is out?
Yes — but the window matters. G7 became the default for new prescriptions, so G6 buyers today are people who are still on G6 transmitters and have a reason to stay there. That demand is real, and it is why sealed G6 sensors continue to sell. It is also why G6 boxes with short dating are far harder to place than they were a year ago.

Transmitters and receivers are small and light, so mail-in works well for them from anywhere in the US, and shipping costs you nothing.
